The SP-Walker The Aircast SP Walker is a short pneumatic walking brace specifically designed for foot and ankle injuries. Because of its shorter height it is ideal for patients whose limb length or calf circumference prohibits them from using a standard height walker.
Each SP Walker is engineered for patient comfort while providing superior injury protection, support, and edema reduction. The Walkers low rocker sole promotes more natural ambulation for improved mobility while the generous foot base has ample room for dressings without sacrificing comfort. The lightweight semi-rigid shell is lined with custom-inflated aircells. These aircells are individually inflated for full limb contact and produce pneumatic compression for efficient edema reduction. Because of the SP Walkers adjustability, it can accommodate changes in limb dimension throughout the healing process and still maintain stability and immobilization. Plus each SP Walker comes with a Hand Bulb to custom-inflate the aircells for individualized fit, support, and comfort.
