INDICATIONS:
Sugar Free Nephro - Fer High Potency Iron supplements for any patient needing iron supplementation for documented iron deficiency. Suitable for certain patients undergoing therapy with erythropoietin including those with renal failure or end stage renal disease.
INGREDIENTS:
Per Tablet: Elemental Iron (As 350 mg Ferrous Fumarate) 115 mg.
DIRECTIONS:
1 tablet daily between meals or as prescribed by the attending physician.
WARNINGS:
Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately. Iron sensitivity to low doses of iron has been reported and high doses result in iron toxicity, which may be characterized by: transient bloating, flatulence, constipation, and diarrhea. Ingestion of greater than 400 mg per day of elemental iron can result in nausea and vomiting.
