INDICATIONS:
Aceta-Gesic Tablets For the temporary relief of minor aches and pains associated with headaches, muscular aches, backaches, premenstrual and menstrual periods, colds, the flu, toothaches, as well as for minor pain from arthritis, and to reduce fever.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Per Tablet: Acetaminophen 325 mg; Phenyltoloxamine Citrate 30 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:
Cellulose, FD&C Yellow No. 6, Flavor, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Polyethylene Glycol, Povidone, Silica Gel, Starch, Stearic Acid, Sucrose.
DIRECTIONS:
Adults (12 years and over) - 1 or 2 tablets every 4 hours. Maximum daily dose - 8 tablets. Children (6 to under 12 years) - 1 tablet every 4 hours. Maximum daily dose - 4 tablets. Children under 6 years of age: Consult a doctor.
WARNINGS:
May cause marked drowsiness: alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness effect. Avoid alcoholic beverages while taking this product. Use caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. May cause excitability, especially in children. Do not give to children for arthritis pain, unless directed by a doctor. Do Not Use (unless directed by a doctor) if you are: taking sedatives or tranquilizers. If you have a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, glaucoma, or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland. Stop Using This Product and Consult a Doctor If: pain persists for more than 10 days (adults) or 5 days (children). Fever persists more than 3 days (unless directed by a doctor). Condition worsens or new symptoms occur. Redness or swelling is present. These may be signs of a serious condition. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, contact a physician or poison control center immediately. Prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms. ALCOHOL WARNING: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
