INDICATIONS:
Provides fast pain relief for minor arthritis pain, headache, backache, colds, flu, fever.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Per Caplet: Aspirin 500 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:
Aspirin (325 mg). Inactive Ingredients: Hypromellose, Polyethylene Glycol, Starch, Titanium Dioxide. May Also Contain: Microcrystalline Cellulose and/or Stearic Acid.
DIRECTIONS:
ADULTS: Initial dose 2 caplets, followed by 1 caplet every 3 hours or 2 caplets every 6 hours, or as directed by physician. Do not exceed 8 caplets in any 24-hour period. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 12.
WARNINGS:
Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. If pain persists for more than 10 days, or if redness is present, or in conditions affecting children under 12, consult physician immediately. Do not take if you have ulcers, ulcer symptoms or bleeding problems. If asthmatic or taking medicines for anticoagulation (thinning the blood), diabetes, gout or arthritis, consult physician before use. Discontinue use if ringing in the ears occurs. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. IT IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT NOT TO USE ASPIRIN DURING THE LAST 3 MONTHS OF PREGNANCY UNLESS SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED TO DO SO BY A DOCTOR BECAUSE IT MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS IN THE UNBORN CHILD OR COMPLICATIONS DURING DELIVERY. Keep this and all medicines out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately. ALCOHOL WARNING: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take aspirin or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Aspirin may cause stomach bleeding.
