INDICATIONS:
Nupercainal Ointment medication is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies and other irritations.
INGREDIENTS:
Dibucaine Ointment 1%.
DIRECTIONS:
Adults: When practical, cleanse the affected area with mild soap and warm water and rinse thoroughly. Gently dry by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or soft cloth before application of this product. Apply externally to affected area up to 3 or 4 times daily. Children 2-12: Do not use except under the advise and supervision of a physician. Do not use in infants under 2 years of age or less than 35 lbs weight.
WARNINGS:
For external use only. If swallowed, consult a physician or poison control center immediately. Do not use in or near the eyes. If condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, consult a physician. Do not put this product into the rectum by using fingers or any mechanical device. Do not exceed recommended daily dosage unless directed by a physician. Certain persons can develop allergic reactions to ingredients in this product. If the symptom being treated does not subside or if redness, irritation, swelling, pain, bleeding or other symptoms develop or increase, discontinue use and consult a physician promptly. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
