INDICATIONS:
Tucks Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Ointment Temporarily relieves the pain, soreness, burning and itching associated with hemorrhoids and other anorectal disorders while it forms a temporary protective coating over inflamed tissues to help prevent drying of tissues.

INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
contains: Hydrocortisone Acetate (1%).
Inactive Ingredients:
Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Microcrystalline Wax, Mineral Oil, Propylene Glycol, Propylparaben, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, White Petrolatum.
DIRECTIONS:
Adults: When practical, cleanse the affected area with mild soap and warm water and rinse thoroughly. Gently dry by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or a soft cloth before application of this product. Anusol Ointment is to be applied externally or in the lower portion of the anal canal up to 3-4 times daily. (The enclosed dispensing cap is designed to control dispersion of the ointment to the affected area in the lower portion of the anal canal only.) To use dispensing cap, attach it to tube, lubricate well, then gently insert part way into anus. Squeeze tube to deliver medication. Thoroughly cleanse dispensing cap after use. Children 12 years of age: consult a physician.
WARNINGS:
For external use only. Do not use:
- for the treatment of diaper rash. Consult a doctor.
When using this product:
- avoid contact with the eyes.
- do not use more than directed unless told to do so by a doctor.
- do not put into the rectum by using fingers or any mechanical device or applicator.
Stop use and ask a doctor if: rectal bleeding occurs condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for more that 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days, and do not begin use of any other hydrocortisone product unless you have asked a doctor.
