INDICATIONS:
Vitamin C or ascorbic acid, is a white, crystalline, water-soluble substance found in citrus fruits and green vegetables. As an antioxidant, vitamin C scavenges free radicals in the body and protects tissues from oxidative stress.15-18 Vitamin C also promotes the absorption of iron, while preventing its oxidation.19-21 Vitamin C is a vital cofactor to the formation of collagen, the connective tissue that supports arterial walls, skin, bones, and teeth. Along with ascorbic acid, vitamin C also comes in at least two other forms: chemically bonded to minerals as ascorbates, and as the fat-soluble ascorbyl palmitate. Both of these forms are non-acidic. Sundown Vitamin C or Ascorbic Acid 500 Mg Tablets from Physician's Preference contains citrus bioflavonoids that work synergistically with vitamin C. The vitamin C is buffered to prevent overacidity or irritation of the stomach.
INGREDIENTS:
Cornstarch, crospovidone, magnesium stearate.
DIRECTIONS:
As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule daily or as directed by a physician.
