INDICATIONS:
Theraflu Caplets are easy to take: just swallow two Caplets with plenty of water or juice. They provide powerful relief of nasal congestion, cough, minor sore throat, headache, body aches, and fever.
TheraFlu Nighttime Severe Cold Relief Caplets:
- Nasal congestion, cough, sore throat, headache, body ache, fever.
- Temporarily relieves.
- minor aches and pains.
- headache.
- minor sore throat pain.
- nasal and sinus congestion.
- cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation.
- Temporarily reduces fever.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Acetaminophen USP325mg: Pain reliever/fever reducerChlorpheniramine maleate USP2 mg: AntihistamineDextromethorphan hydrobromide USP 15mg: Cough suppressantPhenylephrine hydrochloride USP 5 mg: Nasal decongestant.
Inactive Ingredients:
Acesulfame potassium, FD&C Blue 1 lake, flavor, magnesium stearate.
DIRECTIONS:
Do not use more than directed (see overdose warning).
Adults and children 12 years of age and over: take 2 caplets every 6 hours; not more than 8 caplets in 24 hours.
Children under 12 years of age:consult a doctor.
Other information:Store at controlled room temperature 20-25degrees C(68-77degrees F).
WARNINGS:
Alcohol Warning:If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers or fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
Ask a doctor before use if you have:
- heart disease.
- high blood pressure.
- thyroid disease.
- diabetes.
- cough that occurs with too much phlegm / mucus.
- trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland.
- cough that lasts or is chronic such as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema.
When using this product: do not exceed recommended dosage.
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
- nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur.
- redness or swelling is present.
- fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days.
- new symptoms occur.
- pain, nasal congestion or cough gets worse or lasts for more than 7 days.
- sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomitingcough comes back or occurs with fever, rash or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children.
Overdose Warning:
- Taking more than the recommended dose - overdose - may cause liver damage.
- In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
