INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Per Teaspoonful (5 mL): Phenylephrine HCl USP 4 mg; Pheniramine Maleate USP 13 mg; Sodium Salicylate USP 83 mg; Caffeine Citrate USP 25 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:
Clear Cherry-Strawberry Flavor and Natural Flavors; Glycerin; Hydroxyethylcellulose; Methylparaben; Potassium Benzoate; Propylparaben; Purified Water; Sodium Citrate; Sodium Saccharin .
DIRECTIONS:
Follow dosage chart. Do not exceed 6 doses in any 24 hour period. Adults and children 12 years and over: 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) every 3-4 hours. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 1/2 teaspoonful (2. 5 mL) every 3-4 hours. Infants and Children up to 6 years old: Ask your doctor or pharmacist.
WARNINGS:
Children and teenagers who have or are recovering from Chicken Pox or flu-like symptoms should not use this product. When using this product, if changes in behavior with nausea and vomiting occur, consult a doctor because these symptoms could be an early sign of REYE'S SYNDROME, a rare but serious illness. Do not take more than the recommended dosage. May cause drowsiness. If drowsy, do not drive or operate machinery. Do not take this product if you have asthma, glaucoma, emphysema, chronic pulmonary disease or difficulty breathing. Do not drink alcohol when taking this product. May increase activity level especially in children. Ask a doctor if you have: Difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland. High blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes or thyroid disease. Stop use and ask a doctor if: Cough lasts more than seven days, returns or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition. Chicken Pox or flu symptoms are present, especially in teenagers or children. In the last three months of pregnancy. If pregnant or breast-feeding ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
