INDICATIONS:
Safetussin provides maximum cough suppressant and expectorant without jeopardizing the health of Diabetic, Cardiac, Hypertensive, Allergy, Thyroid Disease, and Dieting individuals. Safetussin contains the maximum strength allowed without a prescription of the medications consumers and healthcare professionals have come to trust, dextromethorphan hydrobromide 30mg. and guaifenesin U. S. P. 200mg per 10ml. but with clear medical benefits. Safetussin does not contain sugar, alcohol, sodium, dye, decongestants or antihistamine. It provides health conscious consumers with pure cough control and no unwanted additives. Safetussin is available in a 4oz.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Dextromethorphan Hydrobomide USP 30 mg (cough suppressant), Guaifenesin USP 200mg (expectorant).
DIRECTIONS:
Take every 6 hours, not more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
Adults and Children 12 Years and Over: 2 teaspoons
6 to 12 Years: 1 teaspoon
2 to 6 Years: 1/2 teaspoon
Under 2 Years: Ask a doctor Store at 15-30 degree C (59-86 degree F).
WARNINGS:
Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI)(Certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have:
- A cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus).

A breathing problem or chronic cough that lasts or as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema.
Stop use and ask a doctor if cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash, or headache that persists. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
