INDICATIONS:
Nutren 1. 5 Liquid Nutrition With Venilla, By Nestle can be used for complete or supplemental nutrition support. Nutren 1. 5 is an ideal short- or long-term tube feeding for patients with increased caloric requirements and/or a fluid restriction. The MCT:LCT ratio is 50:50 to facilitate fat absorption and tube feeding tolerance. Nutritionally balanced high calorie tube feeding.
- High calorie (1. 5 kcal/mL) for increased caloric requirements and/or restricted fluid volume.
- Ready-to-use cans and prefilled, non-air-dependent UltraPak Enteral Closed System require no mixing or diluting.
- Moderate osmolality (430 mOsm/kg H2O) to improve tolerance.
- Contains 50% of fat source as MCT to enhance absorption.
- Contains canola oil to provide desirable n6:n3 ratio of 4:1.
- Contains taurine, carnitine, and ultra-trace minerals for long-term feeding requirements.
- Meets or exceeds 100% of the RDI for 21 key vitamins and minerals in 1000 mL (1500 kcal).
