Vicks 44 Custom Care Congestion Relief Liquid Temporary relief of cold symptoms in adults and children 6 years of age and up, including: Nasal congestion. Cough.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Dextromethorphan HBr (20 mg) (Cough Suppressant), Phenylephrine HCl (10 mg) (Nasal Decongestant).
Inactive Ingredients:
Acesulfame K, Carboxymethalcellulose Sodium, Citric Acid, FD&C Red No. 40, Flavor, Glycerin, Liquid Sugar, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Chloride, Sorbital.
DIRECTIONS:
Use dose cup, teaspoon (tsp), or tablespoon (TBSP). Do not exceed 6 doses per 24 hours.
- Adult and Children 12 years and over 15 ml (1 TBSP)every 6-8 hours.
- Children 6 to under 12 years 7 1/2 ml (1 1/2 TBSP) Every 6-8 hours.
- Children 2 to under 6 years Ask a doctor.
- Children under 2 years Do not use.
Each tablespoon contains sodium 26 mg. Store at room temperature.
WARNINGS:
Do Not Use: If you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinsons disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains MAOI, ask a doctor of a pharmacist before taking this product.
Ask a doctor before use if you have: Cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus). Persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema.
Stop use and ask a doctor if: Cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash, or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health care professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
