Vicks Dayquil Plus Vitamin C, Cold and Flu Relief Caplets
- Cold and Flu Medicine / Vitamin Supplement.
- Acetaminophen - Aches, Fever.
- Dextromethorphan - Cough.
- Doxylamine - Sneezing, Runny Nose.
Vicks Dayquil Plus Vitamin C temporarily relieves common cold/flu symptoms : Cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation. Nasal Congestion, Sore Throat, Headaches, Minor Aches and Pains, Fever.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Acetaminophen (325mg) (Pain Reliever/Fever Reducer), Dextromethorphan HBr (15 mg) (Cough Suppressant), Doxylamine Succinate (6.25 mg) (Antihistamine).
Inactive Ingredients:
Ascorbic Acid, D&C Yellow No. 10 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Blue No. 1 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Yellow No 6 Aluminum Lake, Magnesium Stearate, Mica, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polyethylene Glycol, Polysorbate 80, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Polyvinyl Pyrrolidone, Starch, Steric Acid, Talc, Titanium Dioxide.
DIRECTIONS:
Take only as recommended - See over dose warning. Do not exceed 4 doses per 24 hours.
- Adults and Children 12 years and over 2 Caplets with water every 4 hours.
- Children 2 to under 12 years Ask a doctor.
- Children under 2 years Do not use.
When using other DayQuil or NyQuil products, carefully read each label to insure correct dosing.
Other information : Protect from heat and moisture. Store at room temperature.
WARNINGS:
Sore Throat Warning : If sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting consult a doctor promptly. Do Not Use with any other drug containing acetaminophen (prescription or nonprescription). If you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinsons disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains MAOI, ask a doctor of a pharmacist before taking this product.
Ask a doctor before use if you have:
- Liver disease vHeart disease
- Thyroid Disease
- Diabetes
- High blood pressure
- Trouble urinating due to an enlarge prostate gland
- Cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus)
- Persistent or chronic cough as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema.
When using this product do not use more than directed.
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
- You get nervous, dizzy or sleepless.
- Symptoms gets worse or last more than 7 days.
- Fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days.
- Redness or swelling is present.
- New symptoms occur.
- Cough comes back or occurs with a rash, fever or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition.
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health care professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Overdose Warning: Taking more than the recommended dose can cause serious health problems. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
