- Contains 2 Ingredients: Fever and Sore Throat - Acetaminophen, Cough - Dextromethorphan HBr, Stuffy Nose - Phenylephrine HCI, Sneezing and Runny Nose - Chlorpheniramine Maleate.
Tylenol Plus Flu Relief Oral Suspension temporarily relieves the following cold or flu symptoms: minor aches and pains, sore throat, stuffy nose, temporarily reduces fever, headache, cough, sneezing and runny nose.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Acetaminophen (160 mg), Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Dextromethorphan HBr (5 mg), Phenylephrine HCl (2. 5 mg).
Inactive Ingredients:
Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Cellulose, Citric Acid, D and C Red 33, FD and C Red 40, Flavor, Glycerin, Water Purified, Sodium Benzoate, Sorbitol, Sucrose, Xanthan Gum.
DIRECTIONS:
Shake well before using. Find the right dose on chart. If possible, use weight to dose; otherwise use age. Use only with enclosed dosing cup specifically designed for use with this product. Do not use any other dosing device. If needed, repeat dose every 4 hours; do not use more than 5 times in 24 hours.
It is specifically designed for use with enclosed measuring cup. Use only enclosed measuring cup to dose this product. Do not use any other dosing device.
WARNINGS:
Sore throat: If sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly.
Ask a doctor before use if child has a breathing problem such as chronic bronchitis, glaucoma, persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with asthma, cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus). Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child is taking sedatives or tranquilizers.
When using this product do not exceed recommended dosage (see overdose warning) may cause excitability, especially in children. Marked drowsiness may occur. Sedatives and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness effect.
Stop use and ask a doctor if pain or cough gets worse or lasts for more than 5 days. Fever gets worse or lasts for more than 3 days. Redness or swelling is present, new symptoms occur, cough comes back or occurs with rash or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition.
Keep out of reach of children. Overdose warning: Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) may cause live damage.
