INDICATIONS:
Senokot-S Natural Vegetable Laxative Plus Stool Softener Relieves occasional constipation (irregularity) and generally produces a bowel movement in 6 -12 hours.
Senokot Laxatives contain no harsh impurities (stems, leaves or seeds) which can cause intestinal distress. For your comfort, the active ingredient in Senokot Laxatives is always Purified Senna.Offers the additional benefit of a stool softener when hard, dry stools cause discomfort.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Per Tablet: Docusate Sodium 50 mg; Standardized Senna Concentrate (Sennosides) 8.6 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:
Cellulosic Polymers; Corn Starch; D&C Yellow No. 10; FD&C Yellow No. 6 (Sunset Yellow); Guar Gum; Lactose; Polyethylene Glycol; Talc; Titanium Dioxide.
DIRECTIONS:
- Recommended dosage (or as directed by a doctor): Take preferably at bedtime.
- Adults and children 12 years of age and over: Starting: 2 tablets once a day. Maximum: 4 tablets twice a day.
- 6 to under 12 years of age: Starting: 1 tablet once a day. Maximum: 2 tablets twice a day.
- 2 to under 6 years of age: Starting: 1/2 tablet once a day. Maximum: 1 tablet twice a day.

Under 2 years: Consult a physician.
WARNINGS:
- Do not use laxative products for longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor. If you are now taking mineral oil, unless directed by a doctor.
- Ask a doctor before use if you have stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that continues over a period of 2 weeks.
- Stop use and ask a doctor if you have rectal bleeding or fail to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative. These may indicate a serious condition.
- If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
