INDICATIONS:Sudafed PE Severe Cold Formula Capletstemporarily relieves the symptoms of the common cold.

INGREDIENTS:Active Ingredients:Acetaminophen 325 mg, Diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg, Phenylephrine HCl 5 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:candelilla wax, colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, pregelatinized starch, starch, stearic acid, titanium dioxide, and talc.
DIRECTIONS:Adults and children 12 years of age and over: swallow 2 caplets every 4 hours not to exceed 12 caplets in 24 hours or as directed by a doctor. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: swallow 1 caplet every 4 hours not to exceed 5 caplets in 24 hours or as directed by a doctor. Children under 6 years of age: Ask a doctor.

WARNINGS:Alcohol warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.Do not use:
- with another product containing any of these active ingredients
- if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.

- thyroid disease
- diabetes
- high blood pressure
- trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland
- a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis

- redness or swelling is present
