MANUFACTURER: GLADES PHARMACEUTICALS.
INDICATIONS: Capsicum Oleoresin Cream For the temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises, and sprains.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients: Capsicum Oleoresin Containing Capsaicin 0.025%.
Inactive Ingredients: Benzyl Alcohol; Cetyl Alcohol; Glycerin; Glyceryl Monostearate; Isopropyl Myristate; PEG-100 Stearate; Purified Water; Sorbitol Solution; White Petrolatum.
DIRECTIONS: To open, use top of cap to puncture seal. Adults: Apply a small amount to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Children under 18 years of age: Consult a physician. Thoroughly wash hands with soap and water after applying. When being used on hands, avoid washing for 30 minutes after application, using care to avoid spreading cream to the eyes or other sensitive areas of the body. Remember to wash hands following the 30 minute wait. If cream gets in the eyes, flush with water. If you wear contact lenses, do not handle them after using this product.
WARNINGS: For external use only. If you have never used a capsaicin-containing product before, we recommend commencing treatment a lower strength (0.025% capsaicin) product. A burning or stinging sensation, which is normal and related to the way this product works, may be experienced upon initial use of this product. First test this product on a small area and wait 4-6 hours before reapplying to determine the level of burning or stinging you may experience. Generally, the burning or stinging sensation will disappear in several days with regular use of the product. Severe discomfort has been reported by some individuals. Should this occur, discontinue use immediately and remove remaining product with cooking oil. If blistering occurs, or severe discomfort continues, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days, discontinue use of this product and consult a physician. Do not apply to wounds or damaged, irritated or broken skin. Do not bandage tightly or use with a heating pad. If excessive irritation develops, discontinue use of this product. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Keep this and all medication out of reach of children.
