INDICATIONS:Loratadine 10 mg Tablets is a long-acting antihistamine. Histamine is a chemical that causes many of the signs that are part of allergic reactions, for example, swelling of tissues. Loratadine is a tricyclic antihistamine with long-acting selective peripheral H1 receptor antagonist activity. It does not readily cross the blood brain barrier. Following administration, maximal serum levels are reached within 1,5 hours and clinical effect is achieved within 2 hours. Most of a dose is excreted equally in the urine and faeces.Loratadine 24 Hour Allergy Relief Tablets, 10 mg temporarily relieves these symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies: Runny nose Sneezing Itchy, watery eyes Itching of the nose or throat.
INGREDIENTS:Loratadine 10 mg (Antihistamine). Corn Starch, Lactose Monohydrate, Magnesium Stearate.
DIRECTIONS:One AP Loratadine tablet (10 mg) taken once daily.Patients with liver diseases or with reduced kidney function need lower doses than patients with normal liver and kidney function. The usual dose of loratadine is 10 mg daily for adults and children older than six.Tablets should be stored at 2-30C (36-86F).
WARNINGS:Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.Ask a doctor before use if you have liver or kidney disease. Your doctor should determine if you need a different dose.When using this product do not take more than directed. Taking more than directed may cause drowsiness.Stop use and ask a doctor if an allergic reaction to this product occurs.
