INDICATIONS:
Alka-Seltzer Plus Mucus and Congestion Lemon Line Effervescent Tablets helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and make coughs more productive.
Alka-Seltzer Plus Mucus and Congestion tablets temporarily relieves: Cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold, intensity of coughing, the impluse to cough to help you get sleep.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 10mg; Guaifenesin 200 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:
Acesulfame potassium, anhydrous citric acid, aspartame, flavors, magnesium stearate, mannitol, sodium bicarbonate, suralose.
DIRECTIONS:
Do not take more than the recommended dose.
- Adults and children 12 years and over: take 2 tablets fully dissolved in 4 oz of water every 4 hours. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours or as directed by a docotor.
- Children under 12 years: consult a doctor.
Other information:
- Each tablet contains: sodium 296mg.
- Phenylketonurics: contains phenylalanine 6.7 mg per tablet.
- This product does not contain phenlpropanolamine (PPA).

Protect from excessive heat.
WARNINGS:
DO not use if you are now taking a preion monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stoping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
Ask a doctor before use if you have: cough with excessive phlegm (mucus), persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema, a sodium-restriced diet.
Stop use and ask a doctor if: cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition.
If pergnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
