INDICATIONS:
Imodium Advanced Anti-Diarrheal, Anti-Gas Chewable Tablets Controls the symptoms of diarrhea plus bloating, pressure, and cramps commonly referred to as gas. Imodium Advanced - Loperaminde HCI/Simethicone - Anti-Diarrheal/Anti-Gas. Imodium Advanced combines original prescription strength Imodium® to control the symptoms of diarrhea plus simethicone to relieve bloating, pressure and cramps commonly referred to as gas. This unique formula is only from the makers of Imodium A-D. And, it comes in a great tasting chewable tablet.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Each chewable tablet contains: Loperamide HCl (2 mg), Simethicone (125 mg).
Inactive Ingredients:
Cellulose Acetate, Corn Starch, D&C Yellow 10, Dextrates, FD&C Blue 1, Flavors, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polymethacrylates, Saccharin Sodium, Sorbitol, Stearic Acid, Sucrose, Tribasic Calcium Phosphate.
DIRECTIONS:
Chew the first dose and take with water after the first loose stool. If needed, chew the next dose and take with water after the next loose stool. Drink plenty of clear liquids to prevent dehydration.
Adults and children 12 years of age and over: Take 2 tablets first dose. Next dose take 1 tablet. Do not take more than 4 tablets per day.
Children 9-11 years (60-95 lbs): Take 1 tablet first dose. Next dose take 1/2 tablet. Do not take more than 3 tablets per day.
Children 6-8 years (48-59 lbs): Take 1 tablet first dose. Next dose take 1/2 tablet. Do not take more than 2 tablets per day.
Children under 6 years old (up to 47 lbs): Consult a physician. Not intended for use in children under 6 years old.
WARNINGS:
Do not use without asking a doctor: For more than 2 days. If you are taking antibiotics. If you have a history of liver disease. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or call a poison control center immediately. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
