INDICATIONS:
Kids Care Cough & Cold Liquid Temporarily relieves these symptoms due to the common cold: nasal congestion; runny nose; cough; sneezing.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Per 5 mL: Chlorpheniramine Maleate 1 mg; Dextromethorphan HBr 5 mg; Pseudoephedrine HCl 15 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:
Citric Acid; Corn Syrup; FD&C Red No. 40; Flavors; Glycerin; Propylene Glycol; Purified Water; Sodium Benzoate; Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose; Sorbitol.
DIRECTIONS:
Children 6-11 years: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 mL). If needed, repeat dose every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. An AccuDose measuring cup is enclosed for your convenience. Children under 6 years: Consult a doctor.
WARNINGS:
Do not give to a child who is taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your child's prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before giving this product. Ask a doctor before use if the child has: a breathing problem or a persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with asthma or chronic bronchitis; a cough accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus); heart disease; glaucoma; diabetes, thyroid disease; high blood pressure. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child is: taking sedatives or tranquilizers. When using this product: do not exceed recommended dosage; excitability may occur; drowsiness may occur; sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness. Stop use and ask a doctor if: nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur; cough persists for more than one week, tends to recur or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition; symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or are accompanied by fever. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
