INDICATIONS:
Epilyt lotion is ideal to fix those hard, crusty hands in the winter time. Patients with eczema, atopic dermatitis, and dishidrotic eczema will benefit from Epilyt. For those prone to painful cracks, this propylene glycol-based lotion helps to heal the areas. An AHA, lactic acid, also helps to soften these annoying fissures. This product is somewhat oily, and I recommend to my patients that they use it just once daily, usually at night. When combined in a routine that uses a heavy moisturizing cream such as Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream, relief comes rapidly.
