MANUFACTURER: HOGIL PHARMACEUTICAL CORP.
INDICATIONS:
Eliminate head and pubic lice and their eggs! Easy to hold. Durable handle. Reusable teeth made of nickel silver. Safe; won't scratch scalp or cut hair. Saves time and reduces fatigue. Built-in 5X magnifier. Helps prevent infestation. Tooth section is removable for easy cleaning. Pediculicides do not kill all of the eggs. Reinfestation may occur if viable nits remain on the hair shaft. Lice firmly attach the nits to the hair shaft with a cement-like substance. To prevent infestation it is essential to dislodge the nit from the hair shaft. The unique patented tooth configuration of the Innomed Lice Comb provides a gentle scraping action which dislodges the tenacious nit without damaging the hair.
DIRECTIONS:
Apply a lice shampoo to the hair carefully following directions provided with the product. Thoroughly rinse the hair. Comb out any tangles with a conventional comb; this will facilitate combing to remove nits (lice eggs). Separate one inch of hair and place the teeth of the comb as close to the scalp as possible. Comb away from the scalp. Repeat this procedure until the entire head has been combed. Comb on damp or dry hair whichever works best for you. To Clean the Comb: Pull tooth section from the plastic handle. Use a brush (an old tooth brush works well) to remove debris. Immerse the tooth section in boiling water. Allow to cool, then reinsert in the plastic handle. Continue to inspect for nits for at least two weeks. NIT REMOVAL IS A CRITICAL STAGE OF SUCCESSFUL LICE TREATMENT. Use the built-in 5X magnifier to easily identify lice and nits. This will help avoid misdiagnosis of dandruff and other hair debris. To Avoid Reinfestation: Remember that lice are highly communicable. Wash all clothes and bedding in hot, soapy water of at least 130 degrees F or dry clean. REGULAR INSPECTION OF ALL FAMILY MEMBERS IS THE BEST FORM OF PREVENTION.
